What is StylistSelect?
StylistSelect is a client-to-stylist matching platform for salons. It embeds a short quiz on your website that pairs each client with the stylists who best fit their service needs, personality, communication style, and in-chair preferences — then routes them to booking.
How does the matching work?
Clients answer a few quick questions. StylistSelect weighs service needs, personality, communication style, aesthetic, maintenance preferences, and in-chair experience, then shows each client their top stylist matches with a compatibility percentage.
Do clients need to create an account?
No. The quiz is fast and frictionless — no login required. Clients take it right on your website and go straight to your booking flow.
Does it work with my booking system?
Yes. By default, matches link out to your existing booking or calendar tool. An optional live integration is available if you'd like a deeper connection.
How long does setup take?
Most salons are up and running quickly. We help configure your stylists, services, and matching, and provide an embed code for your website.
Will it match on personality, not just service?
Absolutely — that's the point. Two clients may both want blonding, but one wants a social, high-energy appointment and another wants a quiet, efficient one. We match the experience, not just the service.
